Head Coach -Maria Cooper

Maria Cooper E4E Head Coach
Maria started with us in Sept 2016. She has a wealth of experience both with horses, and with supported riding.

Maria trained as an instructor with PATH Intl (the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International), and worked as an Instructor, equine manager, and volunteer with Gallop NYC, a dedicated therapy organisation serving both children and adults with disabilities.

CORE Coach - Joann Bevens

Joann Bevens
We've been very lucky to find yet another excellent educator, trained in the USA. Joann has eleven years of experience teaching students with diverse learning profiles, and a strong knowledge of childhood development  She is a certified Structured Language Teacher (SLT), and has Masters of Science, Special Education from Texas A&M University,  Joann is also a keen horse woman. 

Jamie Harrison - CORE & Pathways Coach

Jamie
Jamie Harrison has volunteered with Equestrian 4 Everyone (E4E), almost since it's inception. 

She has a genuine passion for seeing people achieve their goals, in particular those with disabilities.  ​Jamie recently received a community volunteer award for the outstanding service she provides at E4E

Little Lessons Coach - Brigid Newton

Brigid has joined us recently.  She has many qualificatons and achievements, from working with horses for most of her life, including:
  • Helped train Police horses and riders during this time for Millennium celebrations
  • General Animal Science diploma from UNITEC
  • Centred RIding lvl 2
  • Positive Reinforcement 
  • BHSAI training & exam

Special Olympics Coach - Abby Linton-Price

Works as our Special Olympics Instructor C+ certificate in Horse Management.  She is a talented young University student working towards Bachelor in Health Science and Occupational Therapy.

Inge Rickards
Inge Rickards is one of our most reliable and hard working volunteers.  Her positive attitude and boundless energy are a huge asset to the team and our clients.

Inge now also coaches on a casual basis for us.

Rebecca

Rebecca, joined E4E shortly after we started, and has become one of our most trusted volunteers. 

She has Equine Knowledge level 3 cert., volunteered with North Shore RDA for 5 yrs, and worked for a trekking company. ​ Rebecca ​currently trains with Special Olympics Hibiscus Coast.

Yvonne

Yvonne Hook
Yvonne began volunteering with us at the beginning of 2017,  and has been a huge asset to our programmes with her calm, and cheery manner and great work ethic. 

Maddison "Maddy"

Maddy has been with E4E for 3 years.  She a
lso works with RDA once a week.  "I love working with the horses, and special needs clients."

Suzanne

Suzanne has been a wonderful volunteer, with a calm, caring way of working with our clients, and often helping out in sessions at short notice.  

Rachel

RachelRachel has been volunteering with us for a couple of years now, and she is a valued member of our equestrian programs.  

Like many of our volunteers she fits her volunteer efforts around school and other activities.

Ashley
Ashley has been a longstanding member of our volunteer team.  Her enthusiastic, bubbly personality is a great asset to our team.
