Maria started with us in Sept 2016.  She has a wealth of experience both with horses, and with supported riding.

Maria trained as an instructor with PATH Intl (the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International), and worked as an Instructor, equine manager, and volunteer with Gallop NYC, a dedicated therapy organisation serving both children and adults with disabilities.
Jan started in Jan 2016 as a volunteer, she now teaches, and manages the Saturday programs.

"I owned my own horse, sharing with my sister, in my teens. I've trekked in North and South Islands over the years"
Rebecca started with us in 2016, taking over the Little Lessons program.
Rebecca has over 10 years experience as a pre-school teacher, and a wealth of knowledge with miniature ponies, and is an experienced riding coach and carriage driver.
Jamie Harrison has volunteered for 4 years with Equestrian 4 Everyone (E4E). She has a genuine passion for seeing people achieve their goals, in particular those with disabilities.
​Jamie recently received a community volunteer award for the outstanding service she provides at E4E

Rebecca, joined E4E shortly after we started. She has Equine Knowledge level 1 cert., volunteered with North Shore RDA for 5 yrs, and worked for a trekking company. ​ Rebecca ​currently trains with Special Olympics Hibiscus Coast.
Casey has been with us since Nov 2014

Casey used to work at a horse trekking company, as well as having her own horse.
Deja has been with us since the end of 2012

"I like working with horses, and the clients. Getting to know them, and seeing them improve; building a rapport."
Maddy has been with E4E for 2 years.  She also works with RDA once a week.  "I love working with the horses, and special needs clients."

Ashlee has been with E4E for 3 years starting in our core programme lessons, then moved into saddle club.

Both Ashlee, and her mother volunteer weekly, keeping our ponies groomed, and the paddocks tidy. 
Ava has been with us since Jan 2016

She has been riding at a local riding school, and have been around horses all her life


Kay HarrisonKay Harrison

E4E Founder  

Kay was a volunteer with NZRDA for 3 years, is the founder of Equestrian 4 Everyone, and former regional co-ordinator for Special Olympics New Zealand. It was through these roles that she came to the realisation that there was a significant gap in the supported riding sector.  

Equestrian 4 Everyone is here to help fill that gap through the hard work and dedication of Kay.

Along with Kay, Gina Smith founded Equestrian 4 Everyone, and worked on the founding Board to set up the charity and it's services.

Works as our Special Olympics Instructor C+ certificate in Horse Management, working towards Bachelor in Health Science and Occupational Therapy.
